Peace

Peace a precious gift from God, the sustainer of life, bringing rest,

wholeness and joy. It is a robe of royalty, a garment of fine jewels, an invisible blanket of love.

Peace is harmony in chaos, a comfort in hopelessness, and tranquility during the storm.

Peace quiets the confusion, silences the calamity,

revealing stillness and calming rest. Displaying assurance, security,confidence, and strength, worn with royal splendor.

Peace is a garrison, a strong tower, a forcefield of protection, holding

my enemy at bay. Peace blankets my entire being, shielding my vital

organs, extinguishing each arrow launched from my enemy’s bow.

Breathe in, breathe in the peace that God's Spirit brings. Settling the

troubled heart, quenching the body's thirst, renewing, and restoring

the mind, body, and soul.

Reach for the gold and silver of peace, ask for and find this treasure.

The balm of our hearts, the salve of the soul. Know the glorious peace

that only God can bestow.

Oh, where, oh where can I find this treasure? Who can tell me where to

find Peace? What must I do to be clothed in such splendor? ~~ amk
