Jesus, please remove the arrow piercing my heart
Before the poison moves through my veins,
tearing me apart.
Tears well up in my eyes with the
thought of what was said.
Words are painful; they cut like a knife,
making me wish I were dead
Words can create problems, conflict, and strife.
Wreaking havoc and chaos in my life
I know I am yours, Lord, and belong to you,
But my enemy is wicked and knows just what to say and do.

What you have experienced is unjust and unkind.
It is the world you encounter because you are mine.
It's okay to feel hurt, rejected, and in pain.
Bring all this to the throne in My precious name.
Don't fear the people I have placed in your life.
I have got you; I will handle the turmoil and strife.
Draw near to me; receive my peace.
I am guarding your heart; relax and release.
Release to me the hurt, the anger, the shame
Trust me, I'm here. Call out my name.
I am teaching you to walk my way, my style
You are not alone as you walk the Green Mile.
Know the truth, my child, and the arrow will jar free
Your wound will heal when you bring your suffering to me.~ Yeshua

"The Green Mile". Symbolizes the final journey towards death and is also a metaphor for the inevitability of death in general. ~ Google
