In recent days, I have missed your touch and gentle ways.

What was I thinking, staying so far away?

I became fearful, worried, anxious, and lost

A broken potsherd amidst the pots.

So, life can sometimes seem meaningless and dim.

But with God, it is filled to the brim.

Lungs breathe in the Holy Spirit of Life;

Don't take a breath or step without His light.

O Lord, how I love you; my peace, my portion, my place.

I find hope and strength in you to finish this race.

The enemy of fear, worry, and strife.

My rock, my hope, my entire life.

My heart is jubilant; I am excited for the day.

Where will my Lord lead me, for in his presence I long to stay.

As I open my eyes, you bring a song to my heart.

My enemy flees, with each note and tone, breaking him apart

I praise my King all this day long,

This is my new beginning… and I may

not walk the wide road again.

For my Lord has made me new.

My confidant and friend.

~~~~~~~
From now on I do not call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his lord does; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard of my Father
I have made known unto you. John 15:15 JUB
 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Matthew 7:13-14
