“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Matthew 7:1 NIV

Stating your opinion as fact, making judgments, you see

Critiquing someone's behavior, we just can't let it be

Passing judgment on others when we deserve to die

Magnifying their flaws when you have a log in your eye

We judge with emotion, feelings, desires, and beliefs

From our critical eye, no one has any relief

Your subjective opinion matters only to you

What is in your neighbors’ heart, only God has that view

Think the best of each other, and when truth is revealed

Forgive one another, for this is God's perfect will

Know that the log in your eye, which you think you have hidden

Shows up every time your opinion is given

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged; condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned; forgive, and ye shall be forgiven;  Luke 6:37JUB

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye measure out it shall be measured to you again.  Luke 6:38 JUB

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 NKJV

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV

And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye. Luke 6:41-42 NKJV
