Seek Truth

Father God, I approach you with much fear and trembling

I don’t want to put anyone before you, no idol or emblem

I want only to seek your face, your heart, your way

I most certainly don’t want to be led astray

I desire your will, your precepts, your doctrine to know

I want my mind to be focused on you, not tossed to-and-fro

Concern grips my thoughts,

Am I seeking answers where I should not?

Father, work with me if you will.

Guide me and keep me from swallowing lies pill.

I know I have much to learn and obey

Praying, Holy Spirit will light my way.

Looking to man’s wisdom, or mine, when neither has a clue.

Seeking you, Lord, is what I most desire and want to do.

It is your way, no others will I purposely choose

Your path, or your wrath with you, I cannot lose

I know, with you, only wisdom is found.

My soul pursues you, to be bound

I have no other way of living; you are all I yearn to know.

Patiently waiting, when your instruction says, “it is time to go”.

I will seek you first, your kingdom, your righteousness

As the things of this world quickly digress.

What is truth, what is honest, what is Godly and right

Pursue this, and God will surely win the fight

My daughter, my child, I am your truth.  In me, you have all that you need.

Wisdom, peace, love, kindness, gentleness, strength. You are perfected in me. I want all my children to know the truth.  Truth divides this world.  It separates those who are mine from those who are not. It separates the light from the darkness, the wheat from the chaff, the goats from the sheep, the forgiven from the unforgiven.  I am the truth, the life, and the way. No one comes to our Father except through me.   Coming to me for everything is so very important; do not hesitate in asking me, seeking me, wanting my input into all things.  This is a powerful stance.  Seek me in the smallest things, and even when things become more challenging and more overwhelming, you will not hesitate to come to me. Practice this daily.  Know that I am God, and I am your help in times of trouble, and I am with you always in the good and the bad. In the brightness and the darkness. In comfort and in fear, in peace and in chaos, I am with you always. Seek answers with me. Confirm all knowledge through me and my word.  I know all things; there is nothing new under the sun, nothing.  You are doing well to wait on me.  My timing is perfect. Do not get ahead of me, moving at my pace is when you are battle-ready, prepared. Again, do not lean on your own understanding, your own wisdom, or how you feel.  Listen, understand with the Spirit.  Your spirit and my spirit. The Holy Spirit, who presently guides you and instructs you in all things.  All Things.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and chastening.  Proverbs 1:7 JUB

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, modest, benevolent, full of mercy and of good fruits, not judgmental, unfeigned.   James 3:17 JUB
